Supporting SQUORE

“Kick-Start” Package

The “Kick-Start” Package has been designed by Squoring Technologies for new comers on SQUORE to get started with and improve the performance of their System and Software Life-Cycle processes.

The “Kick-Start” Package provides a full technical and methodological support to successfully introduce the SQUORE platform within your organization processes for Software “Measurement & Analysis” and “Project Monitoring and Control”.

All along the Kick-Start, a set of key predefined steps are successively performed jointly by the organisation staff members and the Squoring consultant in charge. According to the context, some may be re-ordered, cancelled or added to better fit time and budget constraints.

At the end of this period of time, the toolset is fully integrated in a documented supporting process which has been already applied on a “pilot” project.

The deliverables associated to the “Kick Start” Package consist in:

a SQUORE user specific configuration,
the SQUORE training material including examples of results from source code analyses.

Continuous integration with SQUORE

Thanks to its command line interface client, SQUORE integrates perfectly in your continuous integration environment.

Whether you are using Jenkins, CruiseControl or just cronjobs, you can trigger analyses of your projects on the SQUORE server or on another machine on your network via simple commands.

The updated results of your project assessments are available in the SQUORE web interface as soon as users start their workday, and can even be published on your project’s wiki page if you are running Atlassian Confluence internally.

Squoring Technologies consultants will help you with integrating SQUORE in your CI environment… or even help your getting started with continuous integration.

As a collaborative and role-based dashboard, seamlessly integrated in our continuous integration process, Squore perfectly fits to our organization and methodology inspired by « agile » concepts.
Squore performs source code analysis for each archive run made by our development team. Actually, our SCM tool Visual Studio Online, based on Team Foundation Server and hosted on Microsoft Azure, notifies our continuous integration server in order to evaluate the last version of our software.»
